About me

web-0795_edited.jpg

I am a dentist of the highest category. I have two specializations: in fact, dentistry and prosthetic dentistry. I have been working in the field of dentistry as a doctor for about 15 years. My profile is prevention, diagnosis, treatment of diseases of teeth and gums, restoration and aesthetic restoration of teeth, traditional and modern types of prosthetics (fixed and removable).  The availability of modern equipment and materials, possession of modern methods of treatment are indispensable conditions and means of my work.

Services and price

Consultation and examination

Before starting any dental treatment, it is important to consult a doctor. At the consultation, you can get a full explanation of the issue of concern. During the consultation, a visual examination of the oral cavity (hard and soft tissues of the mouth, perioral tissues), probing of the teeth and/or palpation of the soft tissues of the mouth, photographing with an intraoral and/or professional camera (5 photos) is performed. Additional diagnostics are planned for a deeper examination of the problem. At the second consultation, the data from additional examination methods (radiographs, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), diagnostic models, etc. A treatment plan is drawn up, its options are discussed, and finally, the cost of treatment. Visits are scheduled according to the treatment plan.

The cost of the consultation is 300-730 UAH.

Diagnostics

Стоматологические рентгеновские

During the examination, the main and auxiliary diagnostic methods, clinical and laboratory, are used. Their purpose depends on the diagnosis. All of them are aimed at clarifying or confirming the condition under investigation in order to choose the right treatment algorithm.

The cost of clinical tests is included in the examination fee, but targeted radiography (radiovisiography) costs 150 UAH.

Photography for the manufacture of aesthetic restorations (photo protocol) 200 UAH.

in-office teeth cleaning

IMAG1125_edited.jpg

In-office dental cleaning is a professional preventive dental cleaning. Professional - because it is performed by a specialist using special devices, preventive - because it is this regular brushing that prevents diseases of the teeth and gums. How do I perform in-office cleaning? Depending on the indications, there may be several cleaning options and their combinations:

1.  Ultrasonic calculus removal using a Woodpecker scaler - a special tip with a certain shape of the nozzle, with water supply (vibration and cavitation occur - stones crack and fall off due to ultrasound).

2. Removal of plaque by the air-abrasive method "air flow". This is a combination of water, pressurized air, and special soda. In my work, I use the Prophyflex4 apparatus and

powders PRORHYflex, which contains sodium bicarbonate, and PROPHYpearls, which contains calcium carbonate. Both powders are completely biocompatible and safe (when used properly, of course).

3. Brushing and polishing teeth with special pastes that have a certain degree of abrasiveness, which can change during its use, i.e. at the beginning of the paste is cleaning, at the end - polishing - Clinic and LightUp pastes.

4. For hypersensitive teeth, I carry out fluoridation - in the office or at home.

The cost of in-office cleaning is 1300-1600 UAH.

Fluoridation - from 500 UAH

Teeth whitening

IMAG1119_edited.jpg

What is teeth whitening? This is the action of a chemical substance (hydrogen peroxide, carbamide peroxide) on tooth tissue. The mechanism of action of teeth whitening is based on the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide (urea) into free radicals, which are irreversibly oxidized and react with pigment molecules (chromophores) inside the dentin, making teeth whiter.

Teeth whitening is available in the office, which uses a higher concentration of the substance and a shorter exposure to the teeth. And there is home whitening, which is supported by weaker solutions with a longer effect over time.

In my work, for in-office whitening, I use a Philips Zoom4 cold light lamp, Zoom solutions - 25% hydrogen peroxide and Beyond - 35% hydrogen peroxide.

The cost of in-office bleaching is 5500 UAH

Home bleaching is carried out in special pre-prepared trays with recommended solutions.

The cost of home whitening (without trays) - from 3000 UAH

Trays - 5300 UAH

caries treatment

IMGP9177_edited.jpg

Caries treatment is carried out by EXCISION (read, cutting) of infected hard tooth tissues (enamel and dentin) with special rotating cutting instruments - burs of various types, diameters, shapes and sizes, attached to special tips and/or with a powder abrasive instrument (for example, I use RONDOflex plus 360). Any preparation (excision) is carried out under cooling with a constant stream of water to prevent overheating of the pulp.

Next, the tooth tissue defect caused by caries is restored ("filling", "restoration") with a composite material (=photopolymer = light-curing polymer), taking into account the anatomy of the tooth, occlusal relations of the jaws (bite), tooth colour, etc.

Of course, caries treatment is carried out under local anaesthesia, with proper isolation of the working field (cofferdam). To restore tooth tissues, I use materials from 3M (Minnesota, USA), TOKUYAMA DENTAL (Japan), Shofu Inc. (Japan), Dentsply Sirona (USA - Germany).

The cost of caries treatment is determined by the depth of the caries lesion in the tooth, the type of tooth (frontal or chewing), the number of restored tooth surfaces and amounts to UAH 2050-3110

(including the necessary anaesthesia, isolation, preparation of the tooth for filling, medical pads, etc.)

artistic restoration

IMGP9199 (2).JPG

Direct artistic restoration of a tooth - performed right in the mouth - is technically no different from the restoration of tooth tissue in the treatment of caries or non-carious lesions. Most often, the focus is on the teeth of the frontal area of the upper and lower jaws, as they are best seen when talking and smiling. Therefore, it is commonly believed that artistic restorations are only for the front teeth. There are cases of occult caries of the chewing teeth with a preserved shape of the occlusal surface, or fissure caries, where the anatomical shape of the chewing surface is still well preserved. During preparation, these natural formations disappear without a trace.  The use of a stamp, a technique for restoring the anatomical structure of the tooth's original shape, is an element of artistic tooth restoration.

Difference between artistic restoration and conventional tooth restoration

- increased aesthetic requirements for the tooth,

- the doctor has additional colours of composite materials in the pallet, special paints and tools for execution,

- production of auxiliary stamps and templates,

- spending more time per unit of time for the manipulation.

Materials: 3M (Minnesota, USA), TOKUYAMA DENTAL (Japan), Shofu Inc. (Japan), Dentsply Sirona (USA - Germany).

The cost of direct artistic restoration of the frontal tooth is 2600-3000 UAH, chewing tooth 2500 -3110 UAH (including anaesthesia and isolation)

Treatment of non-carious lesions

IMGP8930 (3).JPG

There are many non-carious lesions, all of which are treated with different methods. In this section, I mean the treatment of the following nosological forms: enamel erosion, wedge-shaped tooth defects, and some types of enamel hypoplasia.

The essence of the treatment is somewhat similar to the treatment of caries - removal of demineralised enamel and dentin tissues, followed by replacement of the defect with a composite material.

The dental defects that occur in these nosologies are small, not deep. Their treatment is often "postponed" until the process becomes visually larger, because the conventional method of preparation removes more healthy hard tissue than desired. With an adequate magnification of the working field (microscope, binoculars) and the availability of RONDOflex plus 360 (powder abrasive instrument), it becomes possible to delicately prepare tissues with minimal excision of healthy tissues and not postpone treatment.

Materials: 3M (Minnesota, USA), TOKUYAMA DENTAL (Japan), Shofu Inc. (Japan), Dentsply Sirona (USA - Germany).

Cost of treatment - from 2050 UAH (including anaesthesia and isolation)

Treatment of pulpitis, periodontitis

0365_edited_edited.jpg

Pulpitis is an inflammation of the nerve in the tooth, periodontitis is an inflammation of the periodontium of the tooth. Two different processes, but the essence of the treatment is the same: to clean the crown part from caries or old fillings, enter the root canals of the tooth, clean them (calibrate, expand, rinse thoroughly), seal the root canals and restore them first with a composite material, then with a laboratory crown.

This is endodontic tooth treatment. It is primary - in case of pulpitis, periodontitis, and secondary - when the canals of a previously treated tooth are re-treated for certain reasons.

Depending on the condition of the tooth, treatment can be carried out in one or several visits.

Of course, such teeth are treated under local anaesthesia, with proper isolation of the working field and the doctor working under magnification (binoculars, microscope).

Depending on the anatomical type, a tooth can have 1-2-3-4 or more canals, all individually. The number of canals in the tooth is predicted based on the anatomical type of the tooth, X-ray and CT (computed tomography) data, and is specified during the opening of the tooth cavity.

Before starting work in the canals in a tooth that has destroyed parts, pre-endodontic restoration of the lost tooth walls is performed to improve the sealing work in the tooth itself, this is part of the treatment protocol to ensure a predictable treatment result.

I use the following equipment: Eighteeth E-connect Pro endomotor and E-PEX Pro apex locator, wireless system for reliable root canal obturation, DIADENT (South Korea) - Dia-Duo - includes Duo Pen hot plugger for vertical condensation of gutta-percha and Duo Gun device for root canal obturation using backfill technique.

The cost of treatment varies depending on the number of canals, the number of visits, the complexity of the work in them (removal of old crowns, inlays, pins, fillings, pre-endodontic restoration, perforation closure, removal of broken instruments, reinforcement with fibreglass pins, etc.

Primary treatment of a single-canal tooth - from 5500 UAH.

Secondary treatment of a single-canal tooth - from 8100 UAH.

Primary treatment of a multi-channel tooth (3 or more) - from 7500 UAH.

Secondary treatment of a multi-channel tooth (3 or more) - from 10110 UAH.

(includes dismantling of old fillings, crowns, inlays, build-ups - excluding the cost of restoring the crown part of the tooth)

dental splinting

shinuvannja-zubiv-vidi-i-sposobi_1-448x259.jpg

Dental splinting is a procedure of mechanical "binding" of mobile teeth with teeth that do not change their position under the influence of loads. Most often, the front teeth of the lower jaw are splinted. It is performed in people with diagnosed periodontitis as part of the treatment.

The splint reliably fixes the moving teeth. This allows the periodontal tissues (around the tooth) to be less injured and partially restored. the process is stabilised.

Depending on the stage of the disease and the degree of tooth mobility, I use different splinting methods. Most often, I splint with fibreglass tape on the inner surface of the teeth. Before splinting, I perform professional teeth cleaning, local anaesthesia, and proper isolation of the working area. As a rule, at least 6 teeth are splinted (from canine to canine)

The cost of splinting is 6000 UAH (including anaesthesia, isolation, professional cleaning of the area, splinting of 6 teeth)

Dental crowns

IMGP9426.JPG

A crown is a type of laboratory restoration that is a type of mini-prosthetics.

It is like a cap made in the shape of a tooth that is placed on a previously prepared tooth. The crown restores the anatomical shape and colour of the tooth. It is made of a more durable material, such as a composite, and therefore better withstands chewing pressure, friction and stress. First, the tooth is prepared according to certain rules for the thickness of the future crown, impressions of the jaws are taken, which are sent to the laboratory and a crown is made for the tooth based on these impressions. Then the crown-cap is tried on the tooth and fixed with special cement.

Crowns are made of different materials, depending on the indications and purposes. Temporary crowns are made of plastic, and permanent crowns are made of metal-ceramic or metal-free ceramics.

The cost is determined by the type of crown: metal-ceramic crown 5000 UAH, metal-free ceramics (E.max, pressed ceramics, on a zirconium frame) from 8500 UAH (excluding the cost of impressions, tooth preparation, and fixation).
